ThinCats

We are ThinCats, not Fat Cats.

ThinCats is an alternative finance provider, dedicated to funding growing and ambitious SMEs, whose needs are no longer being served by the traditional banking model.

In the competitive world of financial services, ThinCats sought to reposition their brand and create a strongly differentiated proposition that would connect with business owners, corporate finance advisers, accountants and brokers.

Working closely with the client, we have defined their brand positioning, taking into consideration their competition and the evolving requirements of their stakeholders.

The result was the development of a new, unique, and memorable brand identity with a visual expression that highlights their strengths, and focuses on their core essence of ‘liberated’, symbolising freedom from ‘fat cat’ thinking, inefficiency and high overheads.

Logo creation

The power of three

The inspiration of the logo design came from the three key audiences that are served by ThinCats: Businesses, Partners and Investors. The three parallel lines represent the interaction and highlight the interconnection between these three distinct audiences. The new logo with its minimal design, elegant simplicity and striking symmetry, gives a stronger impact to the brand.
